Feedback from Council Meeting, Chester 9th April 2008
1) Membership and discussion re complimentary journal:
For some time the membership of the craniofacial society has questioned the value of the membership fee. Various options for a complimentary journal have been discussed including the development of a new European journal. The society feels that this would involve a good deal of extra work and favours opening communications with the existing American Craniofacial journal to see if UK members could have free online access. Bill Shaw and Brian Somerlad are taking these discussions forward
2) This years president is Terry Greg, Paediatric Dentist in Belfast. Nominations for secretary (SLT) Sue Mildenhall accepted and 2011 President, Alister Smyth(surgery).
